Well, the world is a Friendly and Generous place.
Although the Beacon Community Center is underfunded, simply putting out the word to crafters has created a stream of materials that inspires and humbles me. Thank-you to anyone who helped put the word out and/or donated materials.
We are still in need of needles, especially circular and dpn's (double pointed needles). A lot of the students want to make hats. Although one can seam a hat and therefore knit it on straight needles, it is an education in itself to use progressively more advanced tools.
